Yes. I’ve been intermittent fasting since 2019. Being “sluggish without breakfast” is only for people who typically eat all day and never let themselves approach fat-burning mode. This is precisely why having non-fasters skip breakfast then checking how they feel is a moronic way to design a study. They’re still in sugar burning mode so of course they’re sluggish. Stored body fat burns like a superfuel but you must give you’re body a chance to reach heavy ketosis to get there. This mean regularly fasting 16 or more hours straight, depleting the liver’s glucagon stores. .

The other advice was ok but “you must eat an early morning breakfast” is woefully outdated and should be chucked out like a box of stale Cheerios. The author should read Jason Fung.

Saltier than a cocktail peanut and here to get ignored by a much wider audience.
