This is what struck me as well, having had a TFMR. I was a traumatized wreck following a drawn out diagnosis that got progressively worse over two weeks. I can’t imagine having to then go to court and beg for permission to spare him needless suffering. The choice to continue or end a pregnancy should be that of the pregnant person alone under any and all circumstances.
