This is exactly what every anti-vaxer said to me when they learned I had breakthrough Covid. Not “Are you ok?” Not “Let me know if I can help with errands while you’re in quarantine.” Not “How do you feel?” Not “Are your spouse and kids sick as well?”

No. Every last one of crowed about it validating their vaccine refusal. And every last one of them saw an illness that swept through my household, sickening every family member and sidelining us for weeks, was a great opportunity for them to gloat about their selfish decision.

They’re every bit as awful as you say. They’re smugly prolonging Covid then taking a victory lap when vaccinated people get sick.
