There is no faster way for a rock and roll dinosaur (um, no disrespect meant; I love dinosaurs!) to grab headlines than to cast aspersions on fellow dinosaurs. No one was talking about the Stones much. Then Charlie Watts died and they were in the headlines. McCartney and Daltrey are simply riding the Stones coattails into the headlines. No doubt this is at the behest of their publicists, and “journalists” eager for a scoop.
