There is a point in every new relationship where the pursuer slightly steps back and it becomes the pursued’s turn to reciprocate interest. This is called “The Switch” but The Bachelor doesn’t seem to accommodate it. As much as I disliked the whiny, needy, insecure and selfish crybaby Kat became, none of that bothered Zach. (He could have said “no” to her before his 1 on 1 with Charity, right?) But the moment Kat showed a glimmer of hesitation by not enthusiastically jumping up and down and shrieking with joy at the notion of introducing him to her family, Zach dumped her. He requires these women to act like full-time Team Zach cheerleaders on speedballs while only he can express any hesitation or doubt. That’s gross.
