The vast majority of people who menstruate do so approximately 12 weeks of the year for about 40 years (minus pregnancy and lactation). The vast majority of non-menstruaters are rarely if ever aware of the menstruation of their coworkers. To even suggest menstruation should disqualify someone from politics is bald face sexism.
