The disclaimer “Not all men!” is classic whataboutism. It’s “What about the men who don’t do that, tho!“ Men who are too weak to tolerate an honest discussion deflect, distract, and invalidate women. It may not be “all men” but it’s certainly the ones crying “Not all men!”
