“The authorities” created this situation by refusing to do their jobs. The stood around, armed to the teeth, wearing bulletproof vests, with their thumbs jammed up their cowardly asses while children got slaughtered. That mother did what she had to do because of their inaction. The additional risk “she created” was absolutely their doing—they’re far guiltier than she could ever be no matter how it turned out. Gun “rights” made that situation, a murderous creep took advantage of it, and the police’s criminally negligent (IMO) indifference exacerbated it. Let’s keep the blame squarely where it belongs.
