Thank you for this. I’m not a big highlighter but I’ve been really puzzled by all the recent whining about it. I’ve seen grousing about people who read articles but don’t clap, or clap but not enough times, or clap enough times but don’t comment, or comment but don’t clap. These writers must be really miserable, spending all night wide awake and angry because somebody highlighted their article. The humanity! /rant
