Thank you for saying this. We should be able to talk about our personal fitness journeys and goals without being accused of fatphobia or shamed into silence. I’m 56, menopausal, hypothyroid, work a full time desk job, and have severe spinal nerve root damage that precludes intensive workouts. Yet I lost lost 45 pounds and have kept it off for almost 2 years (I do OMAD and eat whatever I please). It’s healed my relationship with food and my body image. But I’ve avoided writing about it because I’m afraid the “body positive” warriors will try to make it about themselves and attack.
