Thank you for acknowledging this. As a latchkey kid who was obsessed with The Cure and The Smiths in college, I’ve never identify as a Boomer. I was born a few months before the cutoff. These generational designations were created for marketing purposes. While they hold some broad truths, they are not hard and fast.

She Sells Sanctuary is a great choice. I loved it. The rest of The Cult’s catalog left me cold. Their sound was missing something I could never quite put my finger on, except to say it felt “dry” or “tractionless.”
