So many of them! I have a soft spot for full albums which started with Queen’s A Night at the Opera when I was 11, segued into Led Zeppelin’s live album The Song Remains the Same when I was 12, and Aerosmith Rocks when I was 14. Animals certainly made the cut, first introduced by a chemistry teacher who’d play it in class, then a full on obsession with it in college. It’s stellar!
I’ve been on a Ty Segall album kick this year, starting with Sleeper, then Manipulator, and at present the absolutely raucous Deforming Lobes. Full albums done well will always be where it’s at.
