Saying victims of NPD abuse “aren’t qualified” to speak out is like saying parents can’t offer child rearing ideas and support unless they have a PhD in Child Development. It’s like saying no one can share about caring for Elderly parents unless they have PhD in Geriatrics. It’s like saying no one can share recipes unless they’ve graduated from a major culinary institute. Or no one can talk about racism unless they have a PhD in sociology.

In other words, it’s complete BS! You’ve labeled it perfectly: at best it’s classic flying monkey behavior. At worst it’s narcissists furious that you’re shedding light on them. The more people who understand this personality disorder, the fewer people narcissists can fool and abuse.
