Queen’s ’39 (A Night at the Opera) is about volunteers who travel through space to find a new planet to inhabit, then return to the dying Earth in attempt to collect their (now much older) loved ones. It was penned by Brian May, who, in addition to playing lead guitar for Queen, has a PhD in astrophysics.
