No. People who act like you’re falling down on the job because they’re too lazy or stupid to check their inbox for the work you’ve already submitted to them fully deserve these reminders. If you get offended at this type of response, a good hard look in the mirror is warranted.

Asking for something you’ve already been given is at best forgetful and at worst reveals a total lack of appreciation. A lot of coworkers and especially managers demand things, and when they’re provided can’t even be arsed to reply “thanks.” Of course their childish entitlement makes it easy for them to forget the work you already gave them. Don’t feed their already overinflated egos by pretending your work was late when it wasn’t, or that it was somehow all your fault they “forgot.”
