My sister and I always watched GH after school. On the day President Reagan was shot, we were so mad because there was “breaking news” instead of GH. I mean, geez it was just Reagan.

That sister and I still joke about Monica Quartermaine giving emergency homebirth to a hilariously obvious rubber baby during a storm, and screaming out “It’s Rick’s baby!” Because of course it wasn’t her husband’s kid. That would have violated every rule of soap writing.
