There’s a band I avoided checking out for 5 years because their name was peak hipster idiocy. But when I finally did listen, they instantly became my all-time favorite (eclipsing even Pearl Jam) and have stayed in that spot since 2007. I just got back from seeing them 3 nights in a row in Chicago and fell in love all over again. But I still think their name is stupid!
