It’s not normal for anyone to commit a heinous crime like Eric committed. By your reasoning, no sociopathic murderer should ever do prison time because their crimes are “not normal.”

I agree that we could do with better mental health care and less incarceration overall; I disagree that this absolutely horrific murder makes a plausible argument for going easy on young offenders.
