Interesting. We’re not wealthy but paid cash for a modest house in October of 2020. Since that time, the estimated value of that house has gone up 68%. That estimate does not even include the value of improvements (paid for with rent) we’ve made. I would love to know what financial instrument we could have plopped that cash into that would have yielded an increase of 68% in just 3 years.
