I’m that way. I don’t look to the bandwagon for TV recommendations. A lot of series I’ve loved enough to watch through twice were shows I tried without first hearing about them elsewhere : Bojack Horseman, Derry Girls, What We Do in the Shadows, The Great, Shrill.

I liked GoT but Daenerys Targaryen was the biggest Mary Sue that ever Mary Sue’d and I’ll forever be suspicious of her admirers. I’ve yet to even see a trailer for Ted Lasso. I’ll go crawl back under my rock now.
