I’m sorry, but that is not fasting. With the exceptions of plain or sparkling water, plain coffee or plain tea, that is eating. Nuts, bone broth, fruit flavored beverages and lemons will all stimulate insulin and hunger. No wonder your cravings were “unmanageable.” Look up “clean fasting” or read Gin Stephen’s “Delay, Don’t Deny.” It’s simple, effective and sustainable. Good luck!
