I was so ready to make a quip about Facebook doing you a favor—but after only a few paragraphs you made it clear that their mistake really cost you quite a bit. I’m sorry that happened to you and so many others. I deactivated my FB 4 or 5 years ago and have never missed it, but I did it by choice and was able to offload my group admin responsibilities and download my content beforehand.

I thought FB was in the toilet a long time ago. Sounds like they’ve finally flushed.
