I used to fly a lot for work and could recite those instructions myself. I’m not going to talk while a flight attendant is performing that little dog and pony show but I also don’t feel that the $690 I paid for my ticket requires me to pretend it’s of any interest. Presumably the attendant gets paid for that performance whether we pay attention or not.
