I read far more than I ever write here. I clap liberally and comment when moved to do so. I’m a paying member so writers can benefit from my reads. That said, I read the articles that catch my eye and interest me. I would never read something that didn’t interest me, like it’s a chore I owe or a favor that I’m doing. That has never even occurred to me. I read for pleasure, not out of any sense of obligation.
