I have a twisted tooth in the same location. For a long time, I hated/was ashamed of it. But eventually I realized my beloved mother had that same tooth in the same spot, as did my favorite aunt, a couple of my sisters, one of my children. I reframed it as something that connected me to people I love and it has come to mean something subjectively beautiful to me. And that is something no stranger on the internet will ever have the privilege of seeing.
