I get medieval thinking about these things. Ethan Crumbley’s parents? Let them feel the terror those schoolmates of Ethan felt. Let similarly inclined parents realize that the terror could come for them, too, not just for their bully-child’s classmates (who they obviously don’t give a fuck about).

I could go on but I know an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind. I know we should strive not to become the thing that we hate. So I don’t actually want these things. I only want justice.

Topical tangent: The confluence of the looming US abortion ban and watching “Night Stalker” (thanks for the rec!) makes me think we’ll have a lot more human monsters when we force people to give birth to children they will resent and abuse. If only Richard Ramirez’s mother had aborted him instead of “raising” him in a horrific, nightmarish lifestyle that created a monster. Imagine the anguish and human suffering that could have been prevented.

Too bad abortion was illegal when Ramirez was conceived.
/tangent.
