I do think the vaccine’s efficacy is wearing thin as the non-vaccinated/non-maskers have encouraged this virus to mutate into increasingly virulent strains. However, if I was unvaccinated I’m sure my moderate Covid case would have been severe, and I’d have likely ended up in the hospital or morgue. I’m grateful I was vaccinated and I’m sorry that I wasn’t eligible for the booster in time to prevent or minimize this illness.

It seems the CDC’s recommendations for vaccinated individuals are lagging behind reality now.
