I deactivated my FB a few years ago. I’m hesitant to fully delete because I’ve built a few communities there that are still active. I turned ownership of them over to other admins when I left, but when I went to delete FB it warned me that my groups would be removed if I did that. Is this true? It doesn’t add up that they’d delete a populated, active group just to hang on to one disgruntled user.

I’ve been much happier without the data-mining birthday reminder app and would love to fully delete.
