I agree! We have way too many non-experts spouting their baseless opinions as fact. I don’t mind a story where someone talks about their personal experiences. Where the trouble starts is when they extrapolate their limited experience (or some random podcast they half listened to, or book they skimmed) into empty “universal truths” and trite advice about health, relationships, or finance.

I think people need to stop worrying about “6 red flags” and “12 signs” and “how to get back at your narcissist.” Don’t play armchair psychologist/amateur detective/spot the narcissist; pay serious attention to how you feel and spend your energy accordingly.
