I agree. But I have to admit I’d listen to those barfworthy Christmas songs (and also the godawful hounds of hell barking Jingle Bells) on a loop all season if it meant I didn’t have to hear or read yet another tired reworking of either ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas or The 12 Days of Christmas.

Any writer who stoops to this trite garbage proves they are the most hackneyed hack in Hackville.
