Back when I was on social media I was especially bothered by the mommies who reported every naughty or inconvenient kid incident, (the poop story screenshot at the top of this piece is a perfect example). Apparently in order to remain “cool” after you have children, you must give them negative nicknames and pretend to low-key hate them and all things parenthood. It’s like a distant, unfunny cousin to self-effacing humor.
