As for teensy tiny fictional women, what makes me cringe is grown women being lifted up and joyfully spun around by adult males. That’s always a “Seriously, WTH?” moment for me. It’s hard to have agency when you’re being handled like a 3-year-old. /curmudgeonly old writer’s opinion.
