As both a big Pearl Jam fan and someone who has hit a deer at 70 MPH and had the car go airborne, I couldn’t agree with this sentiment more. I’d rather hit 5 more deer than hear “Last Kiss” ever again… and I actually like deer.

That song is positively mawkish and you’re not alone in despising it. In my novel, State of Love & Trust, a couple of Pearl Jam fans decide “Last Kiss” is unforgivable and also use it like an insult.
